Our History
Since 1957, St. Mark has served the community of Battle Creek, MI with a mission to “lay down our lives so as many as possible experience Jesus.” We expanded with a new sanctuary in 1973 and again in 2002, when we opened Our World for Children to provide exceptional care for children age 6 weeks-Junior Kindergarten. In 2022, Pastor Chris Paavola accepted a call to serve as the eighth Senior Pastor in St. Mark’s history.
